Gerri

Gerri is one of 52 dogs rescued from a fraudulent shelter in Mityana, where animals were deliberately kept in traumatic and inhumane conditions by a scammer exploiting donor compassion for personal financial gain. She has come a long way from that place and she arrived with a personality so vivid and present that it is impossible to imagine anything keeping her down for long. Gerri is quite active but very smart, so needs an active companion to keep her busy.

She is a white local female with a confident, active, and deeply observant nature. Gerri takes her time with new environments, carefully assessing

surroundings, objects, and experiences before fully engaging a sign of intelligence, not hesitation. Once she is comfortable, she is fully, warmly,

unambiguously there.

Gerri is highly affectionate and forms strong emotional bonds with the people around her. She likes to be the centre of attention and she is

charming enough that you will probably let her be. Due to her affectionate nature she may occasionally show signs of jealousy when focus shifts to

other dogs, which is why she would thrive best as the only dog in the household, where she can receive the undivided attention she both craves

and deserves. She is intelligent, socially aware, and emotionally connected. Give her structure, engagement, and genuine human presence and she will give you loyalty, personality, and more love than you were probably expecting
