Blue

Blue's story before her rescue is one of compounded vulnerability. She was living unspayed in a fraudulent shelter in Mityana run by a scammer who deliberately manufactured animal suffering to solicit donations enduring not only the trauma and inhumane conditions of that environment but the additional stress of repeated harassment from male dogs that left her unsettled and worn. She has received everything she needed since her rescue. What she needs now is everything that comes after stability, attention, and a home where she finally feels completely safe.

She is a calm, gentle, and deeply people-oriented female approximately 74 cm long and 45 cm tall who thrives in an environment where she receives regular attention, affection, and positive human interaction. Blue loves human companionship and is at her happiest when she feels seen, valued, and close to the people she trusts. She even enjoys grooming sessions, treating them as an opportunity to relax and deepen her bond with her caregiver which tells you everything you need to know about how she approaches relationships.

Blue is expressive in quiet ways. Her short docked tail gives her away every time wagging enthusiastically the moment she feels happy, comfortable, or loved. She is emotionally intuitive and sensitive, and if she feels overlooked she may become temporarily withdrawn. But she responds beautifully to reassurance and consistent companionship, bouncing back quickly when she knows she is valued.

She is naturally peaceful, avoids unnecessary conflict, and prefers harmony in all her interactions with both people and other dogs. Blue is not complicated she simply wants to be loved and to love in return. In a caring and attentive home she will flourish completely.
