Overview

Prince is one of 52 dogs rescued from a fraudulent shelter in Mityana, where a scammer subjected animals to sustained trauma and torture as a means of manipulating donors. He arrived carrying the weight of that experience. Prince has the best smile, I am sure with deep down scarring from his early upbringing. Prince would be perfect with anyone who is loving and caring and needs a companion by their side. He is a local breed male, slightly smaller in size than others, with a calm, composed, and gentle temperament. Prince carries himself in a measured and relaxed manner, unhurried, thoughtful, and easy in his interactions with both people and other animals. He coexists well within a group, has not been observed engaging in conflict or aggression, and maintains a positive social relationship with other dogs in his pack. Prince is naturally reserved with unfamiliar people and will not typically make the first move. But when approached with patience and warmth, he responds in kind quickly forming friendly bonds and settling into an affectionate, welcoming presence. He is the kind of dog who, once he trusts you, trusts you completely. Overall, Prince is peaceful, trustworthy, and emotionally stable, a dog who has been through more than he should have and comes out of it with his gentleness entirely intact. He deserves a home that recognises that. And whoever gives it to him will have a loyal, calm, and deeply loving companion for life.
